1. Boa-Kae Ranch Two-Tone Quarter Zip. I've been living in this sweater and have been getting so many compliments! Fits generously so if you want a more form fit, size down. And the best part? Get 10% off with the discount count BRANDINGPOT10.

2. FREE Safety Scouts Kit for kids from BASF. Canadian Agricultural Safety Week was March 15-21, 2026 and BASF is helping keep the kids visible again this year with their free safety kits. Normalize prioritizing farm safety with reflective vests and activities. Incorporate tailgate meetings including the adults, kids and any farm staff before completing tasks- its a great excuse to demonstrate leadership & respect to your kids, too!

3. IV Vitamin Drip for calving season energy dips. This is a game changer if you need a pick me up to get through this long night checks + family responsibilities + all the other things. I was introduced to Poke Beauty Dermal Aesthetics in 2025 at my last calving clinic where they generously donated a door prize. This company sent their RN (a fellow bada** rancHer) straight to my house, which was absolutely lovely and necessary during calving season. I felt instantly more energetic. Here's hoping it lasts all month long!

4.Calving cameras. This is an oldie but a goodie that I consistently get asked about. We have had cameras installed since 2016 to help us more efficiently watch our cow herd during calving. They're not necessary for everyone, but we find them especially valuable for remote monitoring-- I can watch from work, the kids sports events or even just skip the extra steps from the house. We use a local security company currently, but have used Allen Leigh cameras in the past, too. I've also heard great things about some DIY amazon buys. If you're in Alberta, there is sometimes funding available for farm security systems through  S-CAP  or check out VBP+ funding.

Be the dumbest person in the room.
Hear me out. I was talking with a mentor recently, filling her in on some insecurities—feeling like I hadn't earned my seat at the table, worrying I “didn't know enough,” wondering if I was in over my head. She stopped me and said something that hit me like a brick:

“It's usually best if you're the least knowledgeable person in the room.”

At first, my ego flinched. But she was right. If you're the dumbest person in the room, it means you've done something brilliant: you've surrounded yourself with people who stretch you, challenge you, and pull you upward.

You are the company you keep. So why not keep smart company?

If you look around and think, “Dang, I'm the smartest one here,” that's not a flex—that's a ceiling. We all have room to grow, whether it's technical knowledge about a crop, learning how to parent in a way that fits our kids' needs, or figuring out how to close that next big sale.

This month, I want you to take inventory of your circle:
  • Notice the women who inspire you.
  • Notice the ones who carry themselves with confidence you admire.
  • Notice the ones who hold knowledge you value.

And then—here's the part most people skip--reach out to them. Tell them you admire their strengths. Ask if they'd be willing to share what they know. You'll be surprised how many people are thrilled to pour into someone who's hungry to learn.

And if you're looking for a place to meet more of those women? Join us for the next Brag, B*tch & Build. It's basically a room full of smart cookies—and you're invited.

When the girls gathered for our FIRST MASTER CLASS (wahoo!) I sent out this fun little bevvy to get the giggles going. My favorite part was all the local ingredients- rye, honey, eggs-- it was basically a farm raised meal in a cup! ;)
Because when you spend all day pouring into everyone else, you deserve a pour just for you.
